Mikel Arteta Post-Match Press Conference - Arsenal 5-0 Wolves

I spoke with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta after his team put five goals past Wolves, on the last day of the Premier League season.

There was not anything to play for, as the two teams could not improve their positions in the league. For Arsenal, Granit Xhaka had played his last game for the club and this was my opening question to Mikel, who didn’t seem to agree that the midfielder was departing. Despite the slight awkwardness in my opening question, I knew Mikel had mentioned in the build-up to this game, that connection was the one word to sum up this season.

After the game, Mikel showed real emotion during his speech to the fans and I knew asking him about this connection with the fans, would spark a great answer. Lastly, a little question for a laugh, was asking Mikel what his post-season looked like.
